NPFL Is Better Now Compared To Our Time -Rotimi

Former Rivers United goalkeeper Sunday Rotimi has admitted that the Nigeria Premier Football League is better organized now than in his days, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Rotimi started his professional career with Plateau United in 1997 before joining Enyimba International in 2001.

He later joined Dolphins (now Rivers United) from 2006 to 2015 and still stayed with the team after they metamorphosed into Rivers United in 2016.

The former Nigeria International confirmed the statement while speaking to the Eagle FM radio, he said the league is better now in all ramifications.

"The league is better now than our days in terms of everything.

"The encouragement, facilities and welfare are better now than our days", he said.

Apart from Plateau United, Enyimba International and Rivers United, Rotimi also played for Sunshine Stars and El- Kanemi Warriors.

Rotimi who has five (5) caps for the Super Eagles also played in the Israeli league with Ironi Rishion and Hapoel Ashkelon before joining Ethiopian side Mikkelle 70 Enderta in 2018 where he finally retired.
