NPFL Lifts Suspension on Bendel Insurance Coach Boboye

The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has lifted the suspension on Bendel Insurance FC head coach Kennedy Boboye, clearing him to return to the dugout with immediate effect, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

In a statement following a careful review of the case, the league cited the club’s appeal and the coach’s good conduct as key factors in the decision.

The sanction has been suspended forthwith. Boboye is now free to take charge of the Benin Arsenal starting with their opening fixture of the 2026/27 season against Warri Wolves in Benin on Sunday, August 30.

The decision has been warmly welcomed by the entire Bendel Insurance FC family.

Club management expressed sincere appreciation to the NPFL and its Disciplinary Committee for what it described as fair consideration and a favourable verdict.
