Bendel Insurance continued its impressive performance in the league with a 2-1 win over Plateau United in Benin City, Edo State.

Sarki Ismael put the host ahead in the 53rd minute before Plateau United levelled from the penalty spot in the Mustapha Abdulahi while Christopher Nwaeze netted the winning goal later in the game.
