NPFL Matchday 11: Kwara United Thrash Remo Stars As Warri Wolves Hold Bendel Insurance

Kwara United cruised to an impressive 3-1 victory over Remo Stars in their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 11 clash on Saturday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Junior Aimufua starred for the home side with a brilliant brace, while Babatunde Bright added the third to seal a dominant performance.

Remo Stars’ Jabbar Malik netted a late consolation in stoppage time. With the win, Kwara United climbed to fifth on the league table, amassing 16 points from 11 matches.

Meanwhile, at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, Bendel Insurance were forced to a 1-1 draw by visiting Warri Wolves.

Alex Oweilayefa opened the scoring for Insurance in the ninth minute, but Othukpo Egbo equalized for the Wolves before halftime.

The remaining Matchday 11 fixtures will be played on Sunday.
