It was Kola Adeniji's 78th-minute strike that ended Plateau United 11 games unbeaten run at the Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu Ode.

At the Aper Aku stadium, Lobi Stars defeated visiting Enugu Rangers 2-0, Raphael Ayagwa and Godfrey Utim got the goals for the hosts.

Goals from Abel James and Victor Mbaoma ensured that Enyimba International thrashed Wikki Tourists 2-0 at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba.
