After suffering a 0-1 home defeat to league leaders Rivers United in the Matchday 23, Katsina United bounced back strongly on Wednesday with a 3-1 thumping over Shooting Stars of Ibadan, BSNsports.com.ng can report.


Madaki Dauda put the host upfront in the 34th minute via penalty spot(spot kick), but substitute Sochim Elum restore parity for Oluyole Warriors in the 54th minute.


Madaki completed his brace fove minutes later before Aliyu Musa sealed up the victory for Chanji Boys in the 90th minute.


In Ikenne, Remo Stars riot against visiting club side Dakkada FC with a 4-1 victory.


Tolulope Ojo put the host ahead after half an hour but a goal from Etidon Dan restore parity before halftime.


Qudus Akanni double the advantage for the Sky Blues in the 49th minute, as Andy Okpe and Sikiru Alimi's effort both completed the rout for the hosts in 57th and 93rd minutes respectively.


Goals Segun Alebiosu and Musa Wakili ensured that Niger Tornadoes defeated Rangers International 2-1 with Kenechukwu Agu scoring the only consolation goal for Flying Antelopes.



In Ilorin, Valentine Odoh's 55th-minute leveller ensured that Abia Warrior secured a 1-1 draw against Kwara United after Samuel Tiza gave the Afonja Warriors the lead in the 45th minute at Kwara Sports Complex.



Action continues tomorrow when MFM FC will entertain Wikki Tourists, Enyimba will sequel up against northerners club side Kano Pillars, Plateau United will seek away redemption when they slug it out with relegation club Heartland. 


Sunshine Stars will jostle against league leaders Rivers United at Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State. Current defending league champion Akwa United will face off Nasarawa United (Solid Miners) at the Nest of Champion, Uyo.
