It was a good outing for the former champions of the Nigeria Premier Football League Enyimba International as the People's Elephants picked three maximum points on the road in match day 7 of the league, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

It was the hosts, Gombe United that scored first in the 15th minute through Taiye Yusuf while Akani Elijah scored a leveller for Enyimba International in the 35th minute.

Chukwuemeka Obioma sealed the game for the People's Elephant in the 53rd minute and ensured full points on the road.

In Jos, Nasarawa United secured their first win of the season with a 2-0 win over the visiting Kwara United.

King Osanga netted the opening goal in the 10th minute before Chinedu Ohanacom secured the game in the 54th minute with the second goal.

The remaining matches in the abridged league are slated for Sunday.
