Players and officials of Rangers are expect to arrive Lagos via a flight from Enugu; before making a less than two hours journey by road to Ijebu-Ode, for Sunday's Nigeria Premier Football League Matchday 2 clash against Remo Stars, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Sky Blue Stars will kick-off their 2023/24 NPFL campaign with a tricky tie against the Flying Antelopes at the Remo Stars International Stadium, after their Matchday 1 game against Bendel Insurance was rescheduled owing to the Benin Arsenals CAF Confederations Cup engagement.
From a little sourced from Rangers flight itinerary, the Flying Antelopes contingent are expected to make a 1hour 5miniutes trip, as they will jet out from the Coal City's Akanu Ibiam International Airport in an 11:30am flight, and arrive Lagos by 12:35pm. The team will then hit the road to Ijebu-Ode.
After the game on Sunday, the team will immediately head back to Lagos, to catch an evening flight to Enugu, to prepare for a mid-week Matchday 3 fixture.
Recall, coach Fidelis Ilechukwu-led Rangers kicked off its campaign with a convincing 2-1 win against Doma United at the Awka City Stadium.
