NPFL Rescheduled Games: Shooting Stars Pip Remo Stars As Rivers United Edge Kano Pillars

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) secured a narrow 1–0 victory over Remo Stars on Wednesday in one of the Nigeria Premier Football League rescheduled fixtures, while Rivers United also claimed a late win over Kano Pillars, BSNSports.com.ng reports

At the Adamasingba Stadium in Ibadan, the Oluyole Warriors edged their Southwest rivals thanks to a 35th-minute strike from Ismail Ayodele. The hosts held firm in the second half to seal an important win and maintain momentum in the league campaign.

In Port Harcourt, Rivers United left it late to defeat Kano Pillars 1–0 at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium. Boluwaji Shomade scored the decisive goal in the 90th minute, giving the Pride of Rivers all three points in dramatic fashion in the #RIVPIL clash.

Both victories provide a boost for 3SC and Rivers United as they push to climb higher in the NPFL standings.
