NPFL Review: Remo Stars Claim Back-To-Back Wins as Shooting Stars, Bayelsa United, Kun Khalifat Earn Away Draws

Nasarawa United returned to the summit of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) with an emphatic 3-0 victory over El-Kanemi Warriors in Lafia on Sunday, ending their four-match winless run, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Anas Yusuf struck twice for the Solid Miners, while Garba Mohammed added another to seal the commanding win.
Defending champions Remo Stars continued their fine form with a 2-0 win over Barau FC at the Moshood Abiola Sports Arena in Abeokuta.
Ahmed Akinyele opened the scoring in the 15th minute before Victor Mbaoma doubled the advantage just past the half-hour mark, securing their second straight victory of the campaign.
In Enugu, Rangers edged Niger Tornadoes 1-0 thanks to a late strike by Kenechukwu Agu with 20 minutes left to play.
Wikki Tourists came from behind to draw 1-1 with Bayelsa United at the Tafawa Balewa Stadium. Ifeanyi Ogba gave the visitors an early lead in the 8th minute, but Nasir Jibrin snatched an equaliser for Wikki three minutes from time.
Warri Wolves and Kun Khalifat FC also shared the points in a 1-1 draw. Adebambo Ademola gave Wolves a 7th-minute lead before Lekan Gabriel levelled seven minutes before halftime.
Abia Warriors were held to a goalless draw by Bendel Insurance in Umuahia, while Kwara United and Shooting Stars also played out a 0-0 stalemate in Ilorin.
