NPFL Round-Up: Abia Warriors Dismantle Plateau United As El-Kanemi Warriors Shocks Enyimba

Abia Warriors returned to winning ways after dismantling Plateau United 3-1 at the Umuahia Township Stadium in a match day 8 NPFL encounter, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Goals from Sunday Megwo, Adejoh Ojongwa and Paul Samson gave the Umuahia based side the victory while Adamu Abubakar only got a consolation for the visitors. 

In Maiduguri, Elkanemi Warriors won their first match at home this season having drew their last four matches before this encounter by beating Enyimba FC 1-0 via Usman Abbas strike. 

Kwara United shocked Kano Pillars in Katisna as both sides shared the spoils while Remo Stars defeated Bendel Insurance by a lone goal. 

Bayelsa United got the better of Heartland FC 1-0 Sunshine Stars pip Nasarawa United 1-0.
