NPFL Round-Up: Again, Niger Tornadoes, Remo Stars Secure Away Wins

The 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, has continued to churn out unexpected results as home teams struggled to pick up maximum points, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
At the New Jos Stadium, Niger Tornadoes under Majin Mohammed produced another masterclass performance by beating Plateau United 2-1 away from home.
The Ikon Allah Boys, who have now gone three-match unbeaten secured the back-to-back away wins over their North Central neighbours.
Remo Stars extended their 100% start to the campaign by defeating Kano Pillars 2-0 at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium in Katsina.
Elsewhere, Emmanuel Amuneke secured his point of the season with Heartland FC after they were held to a goalless draw by Katsina United at the Dan Anyiam Stadium while Sunshine Stars and Abia Warriors shared the spoils at the Dipo Dino Stadium in Ijebu Ode.
Ikorodu City FC secured their first point in Nigerian top-flight football after a stalemate encounter with Kwara United in Ilorin.
On Saturday, Rivers United and El-Kanemi Warriors all secured away wins over Lobi Stars and Nasarawa United respectively at the Lafia City Stadium.
