NPFL Round-Up: Enyimba Pick Away Win In Lafia As Remo Stars Extend Lead On The Log

Enyimba FC picked their third win on the road after a slim victory against Niger Tornadoes in a match day 27 NPFL encounter at the Lafia City Stadium, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Joseph Atule's effort proved to be the winner as the People's Elephant secured their third away win matches and 13 points on the road in the 2024/25 NPFL.
In Ikenne, Samson Olasupo's second half winner deep into the second half ensured that Remo Stars extended lead to 12 points after a one-nil win over Plateau United.
Meanwhile, Abia Warriors were held to a one-all draw by visiting Nasarawa United Football Club of Lafia.
The two goals were scored in the first 45 minutes of the encounter as both sides shared the spoils at the Umuahia Township Stadium.
In Lagos, Ikorodu City FC got the better of Heartland FC 2-0 while Bayelsa United beat visiting Bendel Insurance 2-1. Kano Pillars came from a goal down to beat Rangers International 2-1 at the Sani Abacha Stadium.
