Heartland FC secured the bragging rights over Rangers International with a 2-0 away win in the Oriental Derby to boost their survival hopes alive, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Naze Millionaires got the better of Rangers at the Cathedral in Enugu to move out of the relegation zone after the completion of match day 33.

Elsewhere, debutants Ikorodu City became the first team to score 50 goals this season after a 3-0 thrashing of Niger Tornadoes in Lagos. In Ilorin, Kwara United succumbed to a painful 1-0 home defeat to visiting Bendel Insurance via Kayode Oke's solitary strike while Sunshine Stars defeated Enyimba 2-1.

In the North Central derby, Nasarawa United overpowered Plateau United 3-2 while Akwa United failed to beat visiting El-Kanemi Warriors after both sides shared the spoils.

Meanwhile, Lobi Stars became the first team to be relegated after losing to Kano Pillars by 2-0 in Kano.

The game between Remo Stars and Katsina United ended goalless in Ikenne.
