NPFL Round-Up: Ikorodu City Run Riot Over Pillars As Remo Stars Stage Comeback Against Abia Warriors

High-flying Ikorodu City FC thrashed Kano Pillars 4-1 in a match day 21 NPFL encounter decided at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena Lagos, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The Oga Boys, who played without their home fans were on rampage against a hapless Pillars side. 

Goals from Shola Adelani, Harrison Austin, Ayomide Cole and Rabiu Ali's own goal gave the Oga Boys the much-deserved maximum points. 

In Ikenne, Remo Stars staged an incredible comeback to beat Abia Warriors 3-2 in an end-to-end encounter. 

Ayodele Ezekiel and Anthony Ijoma had opened the scoring for the visitors inside 30 minutes before the Sky Blue Stars began the turnaround. 

The duo of Adedayo Olamilekan and Ibrahim Jabaar were on the scoresheet to ensure both sides went into the half time break two apiece. Frank Mawuena's 53rd minute strike proved to be the winner for Daniel Ogunmode side. 

In the relegation battle, Akwa United were held to a 1-1 draw by visiting Lobi Stars while Shooting Stars defeated Nasarawa United 2-0 in Ibadan. 

El-Kanemi Warriors got the better of Rangers International 2-1 while Bayelsa United thrashed Sunshine Stars 4-1 at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenegoa.
