NPFL Round-Up: Kano Pillars Shock Rangers As Anas Yusuf's Hat-trick Sinks Abia Warriors

It was goals galore across different centres on match day seven of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Kano Pillars produced a masterclass performance by beating defending champions, Rangers International 4-3 away from home.

Pillars scored four unreplied goals in the first half to shock the hosts courtesy of a brace from Rabiu Ali from the spot, and one each from AZulkifilu Muhammed and Ahmed Musa.

However, Rangers tried to pull a comeback but failed despite Issac Saviour's brace and Silas Nenrot's effort.

In Lafia, Anas Yusuf was in blistering form when he bagged his second hattrick of the season to help Nasarawa United demolish Abia Warriors 3-0.

Enyimba FC came from a goal down to pull out a draw with visiting Niger Tornadoes while El-Kanemi Warriors also came from two goals down to play a 2-2 draw with Lobi Stars.

Kwara United were at their very best as they defeated Sunshine Stars 3-0 at the Ilorin Township Stadium.

Other match day seven encounters will continue on Thursday across different centres in the country.
