Remo Stars staged a comeback to grab a huge win over Akwa United at the Nest of Champions in a match day 20 NPFL encounter, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Uche Sabastine had given the Promise Keepers the opener in the first half before the Sky Blue Stars restored parity via Samuel Anakwe inside 73rd minute before Olamilekan Adebayo got the winner with six minutes left on the clock. 

In Owerri, Emmanuel Amuneke got the better of Daniel Amokachi after Heartland FC defeated Lobi Stars by a lone goal. 

Plateau United emerged 2-1 winners over Rivers United while Nasarawa United returned to winning ways with a 1-0 win over Katsina United.

On Saturday, Niger Tornadoes won away from home against Rangers International while Sunshine Stars beat Ikorodu City 4-3. Other results include; Abia Warriors 1-0 Bayelsa United.
