 A thrilling round of fixtures in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) saw Warri Wolves and Kun Khalifat FC pull off shock away victories, while Niger Tornadoes delivered the most dominant performance of the weekend with a 4-0 thrashing of Plateau United, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Tornadoes Hit Plateau for Four

At the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Niger Tornadoes were in scintillating form as they dismantled Plateau United with a commanding 4-0 win. The rout was capped off by a stoppage-time strike from Terdoo Shimagande, adding gloss to an already emphatic scoreline.

Warri Wolves, Kun Khalifat Stun Enyimba and Bayelsa United

Warri Wolves claimed a statement 2-1 win over Enyimba in Aba, stunning the home fans and asserting their ambition in the league.

Elsewhere, Kun Khalifat FC pulled off a dramatic 2-1 victory over Bayelsa United in Yenagoa. After Uche Moses opened scoring in the 54th minute for the visitors, Bayelsa's Jawad Mustapha leveled from the penalty spot in the 62nd. But Michael Akano netted the decisive goal in the 77th minute to seal the win for Khalifat.

3SC, Kwara United Record Home Wins

In Ibadan, Shooting Stars (3SC) secured a 2-0 win over Abia Warriors, with Qamar Adegoke adding a second goal late in the 86th minute to wrap up the points.

Kwara United edged Katsina United 1-0 thanks to an 80th-minute winner from Ibrahim Yahaya, while Barau FC completed a comeback to defeat Kano Pillars 2-1 in Kano, with Stanley Oganbor scoring the decisive goal in the 76th minute.
