NPFL Sanctions Kano Pillars For Unruly Behavior Against Rivers United

The Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) has sanctioned Kano Pillars following incidents that occurred during their recent fixture against Rivers United, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The league body announced that Kano Pillars have been fined ₦15 million for breaches related to the match, as part of disciplinary measures aimed at maintaining order and professionalism in the league.

In addition to the financial penalty, the Sai Masu Gida will also play their next three home matches behind closed doors. 

This includes their only remaining home fixture of the current season, with the other two matches to be served at the start of the next campaign.

The NPFL reiterated its commitment to upholding strict regulations and ensuring that clubs adhere to established standards, warning that further violations could attract more severe sanctions.
