NPFL Seals Mega Sponsorship Deal With UK TV

The Nigeria Premier Football league (NPFL) has secured a mega- bucks sponsorship deal with UK Multi National Television Television Production company, IMG/Jvco who has been responsible for the production of all the English Premier League (EPL) matches.

The minister for sports development, Senator John Enoh, and the President Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Alhaji Ibrahim Gasua, who were in England recently, where it held a meeting with top IMG /Jvco officials to take over it's television production for the Nigeria Premier Football league 2024/25 Season.

The UK based company is expected in Nigeria any moment soon for it to inspect some stadium that will be suitable for Television Production and sign the sponsorship Agreement.

The NPFL/ IMG sponsorship deal is expected to run for a period not exceeding 3-5years, with a renewal clause according to the agreement.

On Thursday, last week in a media parley with sports journalists, the minister confirmed that he was in England recently, to speak with sponsors for Nigeria sports and not for the engagement of coach for the Super Eagles.

Stating that the employment of coach for the Super Eagles is solely the responsibility of the Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF).
