NPFL Mid-Season Transfer: Enyimba Snaps Young Sensation To Bolster Squad

Abubakar Boni has finalised his transfer to Enyimba International from Seamorriow Football Academy, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The enforcer has joined the squad of the two-time CAF Champions League champions to strengthen their midfield.

Boni is versatile enough to play in various midfield positions, a quality that will enhance the People's Elephant in the ongoing Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

The Hellenic product is a right-footed central midfielder who can function as a number eight or in a more defensive capacity. When he plays as a pivot—whether alone or as part of a duo—he tends to occupy the central lane more frequently.

Abubakar Boni, who previously played for Kwara United, was included in Enyimba's midweek match against Nasarawa United in Lafia, although he remained an unused substitute.

The soft-spoken lad is expected to make his debut for Enyimba against Bayelsa United on Sunday.
