NPFL Transfer: Shooting Stars Unveils New Players

Ahead of the starting of 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League season, Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan have unveiled new players, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The club under coach Gbenga Ogunbote last season finished in the 4th position and management of the club has reasons to strengthen the team going into the new season.

The team on Tuesday announced the arrival of goalkeeper Abiodun Akande from Rivers United, Adebayo Abayomi from Remo Stars, Desmond Ojietefihan from Enyimba International and Ikouwen Utin who has just returned from Tunisia.

Others include, Bolaji Sarkin, Mustapha Lawal, Abubakar Aliyu and Samuel Ayorinde.

The Oluyole Warriors will face the newly promoted side, Nasarawa United, in the opening game of the season in Lafia.

The main objective of the team this season to return to the continent and hopefully clinch the title after 25 years.
