NPFL Transfer: Super Eagles Goalkeeper Leaves Rivers United

Due to the expiration of his contract, Super Eagles goalkeeper Peter Sochima has decided to leave Rivers United, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Sochima started the season on a good note with the Pride of Rivers and his performance earned him a call-up to the Super Eagles.

Midway into the season, poor form forced him out of the Rivers first team and had to stay on the bench for the later part of the season.

Sochima on Monday morning confirmed his departure from the Rivers State-based side.

Clubs in the league are currently working round the clock to secure his service ahead of the new season.
