NPFL Transfer Update: Abia Warriors Sign Femi Thomas, Aniekwe, Two Others

In readiness for the 2022/2023 Nigeria Professional Football League season, Abia Warriors continue its preparations for the upcoming season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The club under coach Imama Amapakabo had a campaign to forget in the 2021/2022 season as the team failed to live up to expectations.

The club management on Monday announced the acquisition of four players from other teams in the domestic leagues.

Among the players unveiled are Femi Thomas from Heartland FC, Iwu Emmanuel, Kwara United), Aniekwe Ugonna Felix, MFM FC and Isa Saidu Otassolo FC.

The Umuahia-based club finished in the 13th position on the table with 50 points from 38 matches last season.
