NPFL Transfers: Ikorodu City Completes Signing Of New Goalkeeper

Newly-promoted NPFL side, Ikorodu City FC has completed the signing of a new goalkeeper ahead of the 2024/2025 football season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Olughu Chinemerem, who joined the 'Oga Boys' from Coal City FC, signed a two-year deal as the club aims to fortify the squad ahead of the huge task in the NPFL. The goalkeeper spent the 2023/24 season with Enugu based outfit, Coal City in Nigeria’s second division, Nigeria National League (NNL) and was in goal for the majority of the season. He becomes the second goalkeeper in the club with Aina Oluwadamilare being the only retained goalkeeper from the previous season and will both fight for a chance to stay between the sticks at the club.
