Lobi Stars of Makurdi is set to unveil new players for the 2024-2025 season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

According to the club media, "following a successful inter-local government tour across the state, the club has identified and signed six standout players from Benue's grassroots football scene. "These players impressed with their exceptional performance, determination, and eagerness to succeed. "In addition to these grassroots talents, the club has also signed 8 established and experienced players, who have tested NPFL league, out of which 3 are Benue indigenes who have been signed to strengthen the squad. "This reflects the rich footballing talent within the state and highlights Lobi Stars FC’s commitment to nurturing local talent. 'The Inter Local Government preseason tour, an initiative of the club’s CEO, has been instrumental in identifying and developing grassroots football talents in Benue. "This season’s tour has once again proven successful, providing promising players with the opportunity to shine and represent Benue State at a higher level. 'The official unveiling of the new signings is scheduled for tomorrow, 19th August, 2024.
