NPFL Transfers: Tony Obia Departs Inter Lagos

Highly-rated forward, Tony Obia has declared on his social media page that he is departing Nigeria National League side, Inter Lagos, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Obia, who wrote on his Facebook page is been targeted by top NPFL sides ahead of the 2024/2025 season. He said: "Dear International Lagos FC, after an amazing year and season, I want to thank everyone for the opportunity to share and be part of those great moments with you. "I thank the management, coaches, medical team, backroom staff and especially, my teammates who have become family, for the belief and hard work that resulted in an unforgettable adventure in the Nigeria National League and the Federation Cup. "To our amazing fans, thank you for your support that motivated us through through difficult times. "I wish everyone success ahead of the new season and hopefully, a better ending. I will continue to follow International Lagos FC as a fan and a family member."
