NPFL Transfers: Tony Obia Joins Ikorodu City FC From SKE FC Precious Oham

Ikorodu City FC has announced the signing of striker Tony Obia from parent club, SKE Football Club of Portharcourt, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

A statement by the club reads: "The striker made a huge impact last season with club rivals and neighbors, Inter Lagos, scoring a total of 15 goals and 12 assists in 27 games for the Inter Lawa side. "With 27 goal contributions for the side, he finished the season as the top scorer and assist leader in all competitions for Inter Lagos and now makes the switch to the other side of Lagos. "Obia joins on a one year contract and is expected to lead the line and play a crucial role in Ikorodu City’s debut season under head coach Bright Ozebagbe in the Nigeria Premier Football League."
