NPFL U17 Team Goes On Break

The Nigeria Premier Football League NPFL U17 Youth team will go on two-week break starting today (Sunday) and resume back on Sunday 18th August before their departure from Nigeria, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

The selected U17 team will go on yourself of Europe to Spain for further training and possibly some of them getting professional contract with Sevilla.

This was revealed by the Assistant Coach, Ken Chuku in an exclusive interview with BSN Sports on Saturday after their 1-0 slim victory over Assess Football Academy Abuja

The Port Harcourt based coach said the team is getting close to being perfected as they have won their last three matches. "Technically we are almost ready. As you can see we get better everyday.

"This is the future of Nigeria football, the U17, U20 and Super Eagles players in future will emanate from these players. We are going to Spain to protect Nigeria image and the business part of it which will benefit the NPFL clubs. The income into the purse of the club is the foundation of the initiative."
