NPFL Update: Alimi Sends Goodbye Message To Remo Stars

Nigeria's Super Eagles B forward Sikiru Alimi has sent an emotional goodbye message to Nigeria Professional Football League side Remo Stars, BSNsports.com.ng reports.

The lanky attacker joined the Sky Blue Boys in the second stanza of last season, was able to notch nine goals for the club.

His total contributions ensured that Remo Stars finished the season 3rd on the table and secured a Confederation Cup slot.

He decided to part ways with the club at the expiration of his short-term contract as he prepared to face a new challenge outside the shores of Nigeria.

Alimi through his twitter handle thanked the playing staff, technical crew and the entire fans of the club for their support throughout his stay.
