NPFL Update: Bala Nikyu Resigns As Nasarawa Utd Technical Adviser

Following strings of poor results, the technical adviser of Nigeria Premier Football League side Nasarawa United Bala Nikyu has resigned from his position, BSNSports.com.ng report.

The Solid Miner who adopted New Jos Stadium as their home ground have been having it difficult since the start of the season.

The hope of the team moving out of the drop zone improved at the mid-week after they held Enyimba to a 1-1 in Aba but the result nosedived again when they faced El-Kanemi Warriors this weekend.

They suffered a 1-2 loss at home to El-Kanemi Warriors which further jeopardized their chances of survival.

The team announced the resignation of Nikyu via its social media handle and further confirmed Bala Arikya as the interim manager.

"Coach Bala Nkiyu resigns from his post as Nasarawa United Technical Adviser, as Abubakar Arikya is expected to take over the team in the interim," the club said.
