NPFL Update: Bendel Insurance Debunks Tanimu's Spain Move

Nigeria Premier League club Bendel Insurance has issued a statement denying the transfer of their defender Benjamin Tanimu to a Spanish club, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

It was reported on a certain section of the media on Monday that the utility defender has joined a Spanish 4th tier side Lleida B team.

But the Benin Arsenal on Wednesday afternoon released an official statement denying the rumour and confirming Tanimu as a bonafide player of the club.

Tanimu scored the final penalty that ensured the Insurance victory over ASO Chlef of Algeria in the first preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
