NPFL Update: Dakkada Pips Doma United As Insurance Survives Kwara United Scare

FC Dakkada secured the vital win on Saturday against Doma United as action resumed on Matchday 13 of the Nigeria Premier Football League, BSNSports.com.ng report.

Since the start of the season, the Uyo-based club has found it hard to maintain stability in the league.

Playing at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, the first half ended goalless but Dakkada came back stronger in the second half and scored the only goal of the game.

At the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin, Deputy Echeta was the hero again as table topper Bendel Insurance forced visiting Kwara United to a 1-1 draw.

Mohammed Alao put Kwara United ahead in the 68th minute through a sublime free-kick before Echeta equalized to earn the host a point.

The rest of the games are scheduled for Sunday.
