NPFL Update: Emmanuel Amuneke Takes Charge Of Heartland FC

Former Nigeria's Super Eagles assistant coach Emmanuel Amuneke has been unveiled as the new head coach of Heartland FC, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Imo based club suffered relegation at the end of the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League season.

Heartland have reportedly acquired the slot of Beyond Limits and will play in the NPFL for the 2024/25 season.

The former Director of Zanaco FC Zambia was unveiled by the State Governor Hope Uzodinma on Monday afternoon.

Amuneke is expected to stabilize the team in the elite division and hopefully get the team back into the continent.
