NPFL Update: First Away Win Of The Season Thrills Remo Stars Coach

The head coach of the Nigeria Premier League side Remo Stars, Daniel Ogunmodede has expressed his excitement over his team's first away win of the season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Sky Blue Boys surprised the league followers over the weekend as they secured a 1-2 win in Yenogoa against Bayelsa United.

The victory was a morale booster for the Ikenne-based side after suffering a 2-0 defeat to Rivers United earlier on Thursday.

While reacting to the result, the coach was thrilled with the outcome of the game and hopes to get more positive results.

"Thrilled by the team's performance in Yenagoa as we secured our first away victory of the season", he said.

Remo Stars will host the newly promoted side Sporting Lagos in match day 4 of the league this weekend.
