Hat-trick hero Nyima Nwagua has expressed excitement about the outcome of the game, as he dedicated the feat to his family and Rivers United fans, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Pride of Rivers on Sunday defeated Doma United 3-2 with it's 'Captain Fantastic' netting three goals.

"I feel very good about having the first hat trick of the season.

"But the most important thing is that we used to win and this is the beginning of the second stanza and we've been struggling to win at home.

"Getting these 3 points is very important for me and the team, the team is more important than personal glory.

"I dedicated the hat trick to my family and Rivers United fans", he said.
