By Precious Oham

Heartland Football Club of Owerri has adopted the Awka City Stadium, Awka as their home ground for the start of the second stanza of the league season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The General Manager of the club, Promise Nwachukwu asserted that efforts have been intensified to ensure that the pitch of the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri is in good enough within the shortest period of time.

He affirmed that Heartland FC would face Kano Pillars this weekend in Awka in the first game of the second round and their subsequent home games until they return to their natural home ground in Owerri.

Nwachukwu calls on Awka fans to support the club and ensure they make the stadium's atmosphere as charged as possible so that the visitors won't be able to survive their onslaught.
