NPFL Update: Kano Pillars Coach Wary Of Bayelsa United Attack Force

By Sampson Adedeji

Ahead of the match day 2 clash against Bayelsa United, the coach of Kano Pillars Usman Abdallah has heaped praises on the scoring ability of the team, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Despite surviving the relegation on the last day of the season, the Prosperity Boys netted a whooping 46 goals in the season.

The Sai Masu Gida boys will face Bayelsa United in Yenogoa in the day 2 of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League season on Sunday.

" In my philosophy, unlike other coaches, I'm more focused on not conceding goals, my team always built from the back, whether we are attacking or defending, I always ensure our defense is solid.

" Last season, despite Bayelsa United being at the bottom of the table during the first stanza, they scored the highest number of goals and many people overlooked that fact", he said.
