Despite not having a substantive coach, the management of the Nigeria Premier Football League club Kano Pillars under Alhaji Babangida Umar has ordered the players to resume on Tuesday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Masu Gida boys regained their Premier League status after spending a year in the lower league under coach Evans Ogenyi.

The coach left the club following the expiration of his contract and the club management has opened discussions with the former Enugu Rangers coach Abdu Maikaba.

The chairman of the club on Sunday said the players who still have valid contracts with the club should resume on the 25th of July while players whose contracts have ended should wait for further directives.

The club is hoping to finalise arrangement with coach Maikaba this week and proceed to the official announcement and unveiling.
