NPFL Update: Kwara United To Arrive Ibadan Wednesday

Actions will continue in the match day One of the Nigeria Premier Football League this weekend and teams are ready to fight for the available points, BSNSports.com.ng report.

The opening game of the season was played last Sunday at the Goodswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo and it was Bendel Insurance that secured a 0-2 away win at the expense of former champions Akwa United.

The latest update from the league indicated that Kwara United will arrive in Ibadan the capital of Oyo-State for its opening match against Gombe United.

The Afonja adopted Lekan Salami Stadium Adamasingba Ibadan as its new home after the Ilorin Township stadium failed to meet the required standard of the league.

Kwara United played its home game at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos when they were campaigning for the CAF Confederation Cup.

Their match against Gombe United will come up Sunday.
