NPFL Update: Onazi Trains With Remo Stars

Barely 5 days to the commencement of the Nigeria Professional Football League, clubs continue to prepare adequately to have a good season, BSNSports.com.ng understand.

The biggest news this week came from Remo Stars as Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi was spotted in their training on Tuesday.

Onazi spent the early part of this season with the Italian series club Casertana but decided to the pathway with the team.

It's not clear if Onazi is nursing the ambition of playing in the NPFL or is just training with the Sky Blue Boys.

Onazi was part of the victorious Super Eagles team that won the 2013 African Cup of Nations in South Africa under late coach Stephen Keshi.

He attended two FIFA World Cup tournaments for Nigeria in 2014 and 2018.
