Despite playing out a 1-1 draw in Ilorin, the head coach of Rangers International of Enugu Fidelis Ilechukwu has heaped praises on Kwara United, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Afonja Warriors sent a warning signal to the Premier League big boys when they picked a draw against Rivers United in Port-Harcourt.

They hosted the Flying Antelope on Sunday and the game ended in a goalless draw.

While speaking after the game, Ilechukwu the Afonja Warriors for their display and resilience.

“If Kwara could pick a result from Rivers, we felt we could pick one here too.

“I was really shocked at just how their coach changed the game in the second half.

Kwara United surprised me in the second half", he said
