Sampson Adedeji
The departing coach of the Rangers International of Enugu, Abdul Maikaba, has confirmed that the club is the only club in Nigeria that he worked with that didn't owe him, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Flying Antelopes struggled to make an impact in the Abridged League format last season but reached the final of the Federation Cup before losing out to Bendel Insurance.
Maikaba made the statement during a farewell message to the club and further confirmed that he wanted to go and stay close to his family.
"I have worked in other clubs in Nigeria, but can say it boldly that Rangers is the only team that I ended with, without owing me anything".
He further thanked the people of Enugu and Rangers family for the opportunity given to him to serve.
"since the past 10 years, I have not stayed with my family for months. The children are growing and need my attention. Even if I am going to take Contract elsewhere, it must be close to my place", he said. the
