NPFL Update: Remo Stars Set To Unveil New Coach On Friday

Nigeria Professional Football League side Remo Stars are set to announce a new coach ahead of the 2022/2023 league season, BSNsports.com.ng understands.

Former Rangers International coach, Gbenga Ogunbote, left the club following the expiration of his contract in the just-concluded season.

Against the bookmaker's predictions, Remo Stars finished in the 3rd position on the log and was able to pick a continental ticket to campaign in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Â The club management has concluded an arrangement to announce Daniel Ogunmodede their new manager for the 2022/2023 league season.

Ogunmodede returned the team to the NPFL two seasons ago before his sojourn to the Portuguese league with CD Feirense.

He was in charge of the team on Wednesday in the Aiteo cup round of 32 where they lost to Akwa United 3-0.

He will be unveiled as the manager of the team on Friday ahead of the upcoming season.
