NPFL Update: Rivers United Legend Now Team Coordinator

The management of the Nigeria Premier League club Rivers United has announced the new team coordinator for the club, BSNSports.com.ng reports 

The club hierarchy on Monday announced the team's legend and rock-solid defender Festus Austin as the new Team Coordinator for the 'Pride of Rivers'.

Austin retired as a player of the club last season having served as captain for so many years.

"We are delighted to announce that Festus Austin has been appointed our new Team Coordinator.

"Austin, a dedicated solid centre-back during his active days assumes the new role ahead of the new season having served dutifully as our captain

We wish Festus Austin every success", the club said.
