NPFL Update: Shooting Stars Unveils Ogunbote

Just as reported over the weekend, Nigeria Professional Football League club Shooting Stars has started readiness for the 2022/2023 league season by completing the signing of head coach, Gbenga Ogunbote, BSNsports.com.ng has gathered.

The team has a season to forget in 2021/2022 struggling to avoid the drop and has to wait till the last day to be sure of its status.

The club on Monday unveiled Gbenga Ogunbite as the head coach of the club for the new season.

The former Sunshine Stars gaffer made headlines last season after he piloted a newly promoted Remo Stars to d place on the table.

He parted ways with the Sky Blue Boy after the expiration of his contract and decided to move to Ibadan where he has worked in the past.

His priority is to stabilize the team in the premier league and see if they can return to the continent in the coming season.
