NPFL Update: Sikiru Alimi Quits Remo Stars

After a successful outing in the just concluded 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football League season, striker Sikiru Alimi has left Remo Stars, BSNsports.com.ng understands.

Alimi joined the Sky Blue Star in the second half of the season and his efforts propelled the team to the third position in the league.

He was able to score nine goals for the club as they secured a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The former Lobi Stars striker's contract expired with the club last week and he was persuaded by the management to stay but he choose to move on ahead of new season.
