NPFL Update: Sikiru Alimi Set To Join Shooting Stars

Ahead of the 2022/2023 Nigeria Professional Football League season, Shooting Stars of Ibadan are about to acquire the services of Sikiru Alimi, BSNSports.com.ng report.

According to the update coming from the team camp, the 1992 CAF Cup champions are on the verge of securing the signature of one league's finest strikers last season Sikiru Alimi.

Alimi represented Remo Stars in the second stanza of last season and scored 9 goals to secure a continental slot for the Sky Blue boys.

He parted ways with the club at end of last season and joined the Libyan side AS Darnes.

Alimi returned to the country a few weeks ago and he's set to rejoin coach Gbenga Ogunbote in Ibadan as a free-agent player.
