NPFL Update: Sporting Lagos Coach Praises Lokosa

The coach of newly promoted Nigeria Premier Football League side Sporting Lagos has heaped praises on the team's striker Junior Lokosa, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Lokosa joined the Lagos-based side this season after the expiration of his contract with Remo Stars.

The lanky attacker seems to have rediscovered the form that endeared him with the league followers.

Sporting Lagos defeated Kano Pillars 3-0 on Monday with Lokosa scoring twice in the game to ensure full points.

“I’ve never had doubts about him. What he does for us in the dressing room is the most important thing for me.

"He helps the young strikers in the team, like Jonathan and Okon score goals. 

"That’s very important for me,” the coach said on the club website.

Lokosa won the league's top scorer in 2018 with Kano Pillars and he has also scored 3 goals this season with Sporting Lagos.
