NPFL Update: Sunday Faleye Announces Shooting Stars Exit

Sunday Faleye has announced his departure from the Nigeria Professional Football League club Shooting Stars of Ibadan, BSNsports.com.ng understands.

Faleye rejoined the Oluyole Warriors in the second stanza of last season after he returned from the Czech Republic.

Injury and loss of form affected his performance for the Ibadan-based club but he was able to score just a goal for the team in the few matches he participated in.

He announced via his Twitter handle while appreciating the club and the fans for their support.

"I feel privileged to have played for this club. Many beautiful moments and memories but most importantly unconditional support from the people of Ibadan the fans. Thank you," he said.
